Returns Policy

We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from www.handy-dryers.co.uk and strive to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please complete the details on the reverse side of your delivery note and send it back to us together with the products original packaging and labeling within 7 days of the date of delivery. We will exchange for the full value or refund the cost of the item(s) less a re-stocking charge of 15%. All returned goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt for a refund/credit to be offered. If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please complete the details on the reverse side of your delivery note giving details of the fault and send it back to us together with the item in its original packaging, where possible, within 28 days. We will exchange the item or refund the full cost including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate. If you are in any doubt, please contact our customer service department. We are here to help you. We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.

Delivery Information

Where possible, all orders placed by 2pm will be dispatched immediately and delivered to you on the next working day during normal working hours. If you place an order on a Friday, delivery will be on the following Monday. Most of our orders are dispatched via Interlink Courier Services and require a signature upon delivery, however, when you order, you are able to specify an alternative address in case it is more convenient for you to have your order delivered elsewhere.

Although the majority of orders are delivered in the morning, we cannot guarantee a time of arrival. At an additional cost we can arrange a timed delivery service if an order is particularly urgent. Please contact us on to arrange and to obtain a delivery cost.

Larger orders are dispatched on pallets from our Stansted warehouse. Your order may be dispatched in more than one parcel and arrive at different times.

Self Collection from store: Should you wish to avoid delivery charges, you are welcome to collect you order from either our Bishop's Stortford, Herts showroom or directly from our Stansted warehouse (usually for larger consignments)

We Deliver Almost Anywhere! We deliver to virtually all addresses within the UK, Northern Ireland and to BFPO addresses. We can also offer delivery to almost any other country, however, the cost will need to be confirmed beforehand as it often varies. Please call us for a quotation on 01279 466 500.

International:

Handy Dryers are able to ship products to most parts of the world within a matter of days. Orders for Europe can be placed directly on-line or by telephoning our expert sales staff on . All orders outside of the UK carry a postage & packing charge of £30.00. For VAT exempt customers, please telephone or email us and a special order will be prepared for you.

Due to varying shipping costs and methods, products sent to areas outside of Europe are quoted for on an individual basis by our sales office by either calling us on the number above or by contacting us on email: [email protected]

Price Promise

We're so confident that we're offering you a fantastic deal on our hand dryers, we'll refund double the difference if you find the same product cheaper on any other UK website within 14 days of your purchase. To request a price match refund, just email [email protected] including: the name of the website where the product is cheaper, and a telephone number.. You will receive an automated acknowledgment of your request, and we will review the details and reply to you via email within three business days.

Acceptance: Upon our acceptance of your refund request, please allow 48 hours for delivery of your refund which will be credited as a second transaction on your credit or debit card. The time taken for the refund to appear on your credit or debit card statement varies so the amount may not show on your next statement. Please note: to avoid potential abuse and to enable us to honour our price-match refund guarantee to genuine customers, the acceptance of all refund requests is ultimately at the discretion of Handy Dryers, who will at all times act reasonably and in good faith.

Terms: You are eligible for a price-match refund if your request meets the following conditions: The Handy Dryers refund guarantee applies only to internet retailers that have the identical product and/or goods in stock or service immediately available and the product, goods and/or service are priced accurately. Prices are compared on product price where comparisons include the product plus delivery charges when calculating the competitor's total price. The Handy Dryers refund guarantee does not apply when you use coupons, promotional offers. The Handy Dryers refund guarantee is limited to up purchases made in the United Kingdom.

General

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed with Heat Outdoors Ltd whether online, by e-mail, by telephone or by post. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

All references to the customer shall mean the person or business purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. Orders

We are pleased to accept orders by either Online transaction (secure server) or e-mail (unsecure). All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. Orders may not be accepted or processed without a valid payment.

Providing the goods are received back in an unused condition and in their original packaging with all accessories, you will receive a refund within thirty days of your notice to cancel.

Delivery

Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. Charges for the different delivery services can by obtained from our Customer Service Department and are also listed as options at the point of ‘checkout’ on our web sites. All goods are subject to availability and outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time unless they are for “bespoke” or “special” order products. In instances where payment has already been made and a full refund given

From time to time we may have to revise delivery charges; this is mainly with overseas orders. If this is the case we will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your acceptance of the revision. The order will not be processed or charged until we have you authority to do so.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please check the contents of your order as early as possible as breakages cannot be addressed unless reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns and Exchanges

All returned goods must be in a new and unused condition together with original undamaged packaging a copy of your receipt for a refund/credit to be offered.

To cancel any item either before delivery or within 14 days or reciept, you can e-mail, fax or write to us quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the items, retain all original packaging and must not use them. Goods must be returned to us within seven days of your notice to cancel. Items may be returned to Heat Outdoors Limited Customer Service department. All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods.

In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit or failing to match the items ordered, details must be notified to us within 48 hours of receipt. If we receive no such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.

Disposal

IMPORTANT - At the end of its life it is the users responsibility to ensure this appliance is not to be disposed of in domestic or commercial waste but taken to a recognized recycling facility to ensure its component parts are recycled correctly

Electrical and Electronic Equipment that was made after June 2006 should display this symbol on the packaging or product. It means that the product is covered by the WEEE Regulations and every effort should be made to recycle it. All our electrical products display this symbol.

Guarantee

All products offered are guaranteed for a period of twelve months (unless otherwise stated) from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. In the event of a warranty claim, please return the item with a copy of the original receipt. Please note we do not offer a guarantee for lamps. Please identify clearly the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition, otherwise they may be returned to you without attention. Further advice is available by contacting our Customer Service Department during office hours.

After the initial 28 days, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of goods that have become faulty. We recommend that they are sent via an insured and signed-for service.

Acceptance

Once you place an order with us, you will receive an order acknowledgment email stating the items you have ordered. This does not constitute acceptance of your order.

Acceptance is acknowledged when your order has been shipped from our warehouse or suppliers.

Non-acceptance of your order may be due to: being unable to authorise your payment, the product being unavailable, a product pricing or description error.
